Surgical planning assistance in keyhole and percutaneous surgery: A systematic review

Surgical planning of percutaneous interventions has a crucial role to guarantee the success minimally invasive surgeries. In last decades, many methods have been proposed reduce clinician work load related phase and augment information used in definition optimal trajectory. this survey, we include 113 articles computer assisted (CAP) validations obtained from systematic search on three databases. First, general formulation problem is presented, independently surgical field involved, key steps involved development CAP solution are detailed. Secondly, categorized based main applications, which object study categorize them type assistance provided end-user.
